How long have you been doing EcoTrek?
I began in June 2011 when the Kalamazoo Series was created.
What personal goals have you reached since beginning EcoTrek Fitness sessions?
I was able to diversify my training, strengthening my core and upper body.
Which route/location is your favorite?
I enjoy Kindleberger Park and the rolling hills in the summer. In the winter I enjoy Parkview Hillas and the woods.
Many people find the thought of trying EcoTrek rather intimidating. What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant about working out, outside, in all kinds of crazy weather?
The people in the group and Kylie, the Series Leader, are very supportive. Durign the winter months you warm up quickly once you start moving. At times, it is hard to bring yourself to work out in the cold, but after you are done you are glad you completed the workout.
What activities have you been inspired to try since you started EcoTrekking?
Cross country skiing.
